Gilbert Trout is a Vice President – Investment Advisor with Sands Investment Group (SIG), where he advises private investors, developers, and owner-operators on the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate investments. Prior to his business career, Gilbert graduated from Indiana University Bloomington and pursued a successful career as a professional orchestral musician and conductor throughout Europe, later serving as a visiting lecturer at Tufts University. This uncommon background contributes to his creativity, discipline, and ability to connect with clients from diverse industries and backgrounds.

A native of Boston, Gilbert lives in Baltimore with his family. He is deeply committed to community and economic development and serves on the Baltimore County Economic Development Advisory Board, the Board of Directors of Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, and the President’s Advisory Board of Stevenson University.
