Exercise in a Timely Fashion

To reap the benefits of a 1031 exchange, like-kind properties must be identified within 45 days of dispossessing an asset and closing must occur within 180 days. The best way to ensure the transaction is exercised in a timely fashion is to have access to the widest variety of inventory possible.
